About this route
In just over 19 kilometres you cycle through every part of Giethoorn: Giethoorn-Zuid, Giethoorn-Noord and the water village of Dwarsgracht. You ride along the Dorpsgracht and the Thijssengracht canals and for a while along the Beulakerwijde lake.
Along the way you pass, among other places, the hamlet of Zuideinde, the Vos marina and the De Zuiderkluft visitors' harbour. The route runs through Weerribben-Wieden National Park.
Allow about an hour and a quarter of cycling, without stops. It is a loop: you finish where you started.
