A short, easy walk of about 3.5 kilometres through the heart of Giethoorn. You follow the Dorpsgracht, the well-known canal through the village, and pass through the hamlet of Zuideinde.
Along the way you pass Museum Giethoorn 't Olde Maat Uus and the De Zuiderkluft visitors' harbour. The Beukers-Steenwijk canal also lies on the route.
Allow about 45 minutes of walking. It is a loop: you finish where you started.
