A lovely walk through Giethoorn. This route takes you through every part of the village: Giethoorn-Zuid, Giethoorn-Noord, Dwarsgracht and along the Beulakerwijde lake. A beautiful walk.

About this route
Giethoorn & Dwarsgracht Loop is a walking route of 19.2 km. You finish where you started. Allow about 4 h 15 min.
In just over 19 kilometres you walk through every part of Giethoorn: Giethoorn-Zuid, Giethoorn-Noord and the water village of Dwarsgracht. You follow the Dorpsgracht and the Thijssengracht canals and walk for a while along the Beulakerwijde lake.
Along the way you pass, among other places, the hamlet of Zuideinde, the Vos marina and the De Zuiderkluft visitors' harbour. The route runs through Weerribben-Wieden National Park.
Allow just over four hours of walking. It is a loop: you finish where you started.
